Collection Bureau of Walla Walla, Inc. (CBWW) complies with all state and federal laws, including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Some consumers will only pay their debts when legal action is taken. CBWW's in-house legal department will pursue legal action on behalf of our client when the circumstances warrant and only after receiving written authorization from the client. On approved accounts, CBWW will advance all court costs, service fees, and attorney fees.
CBWW charges fees only when the money is recovered from consumers. There are no upfront fees, and the cost of services is calculated on a contingency basis. If we do not collect for our client, there is no charge.

Employees are trained and tested on collection laws and regulations, as well as company operations of the collection process and procedures.
We report qualifying consumer accounts to TransUnion and Equifax.
